A piano teacher in Fresno with a concert pianist's training
Naira Shahsouvarian holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano & Pedagogy from a Russian conservatory, and has spent nearly 30 years sharing that tradition with her students.
An award-winning pianist, she was named a Steinway & Sons 2017 Top Music Teacher, as voted by Valley Music Center, and has been a member of the Music Teachers Association of California for 27 years. She has performed as a soloist and accompanied her own students as they performed in notable venues.
Today she offers private piano lessons in Fresno for kids and adults, with a personal, step-by-step style that puts reading music and sight-reading at the heart of every lesson.
